The BIG WHEEL Collection by Michael Friedberg

The latest edition to the Artist Series is all about letting the good times roll. Before you rode a bike, before training wheels there was the big wheel. You took your first pedal strokes on it, over cooked your first corner on it & fell in love with speed on it.

This month's guest artist, Michael Friedberg, pays homage to how fun it is to pedal. Bikes are the fountain of youth & Michael's fresh stencil art re-connects you to how simple & awesome it is to rip around on a machine that you power.

The background is a simple and clean throwback to the type of shirt your mom would have dressed you in for a school picture so you know you’ll look
good.
Short sleeve jersey and bib shorts available in Men's and Women's sizing.

About the artist

To know Michael is to love his enthusiasm for life and adventure. He's a young soul with a big heart. Michael has never taken an art class and is not super comfortable with the artist moniker. His interest in art came from skateboarding and it’s DIY culture. He was a member of the US Ski Team and skied moguls on the World Cup. It was during this time that he started experimenting with art to fill the hours of down time. A world Cup skier, turned artist, turned entrepreneur, turned chicken king of Colorado.  He's the founder of Colorado-based Yellowbelly Chicken.

Michael's stencil art is inspired by the amazing graffiti art he witnessed around the airports in Europe during his World Cup travels.  He cuts each stencil by hand with a razorblade & spray paints his images on clothing and handbags.  Michael has his own line of clothing and handbags called Idiom Sweatshop

No Kid Hungry

Sure, this kit looks dope and brings back childhood memories. But It's much more than that. Not all kids are as fortunate as we were. One in six kids, IN THE US, does not get enough to eat. We think that's completely unacceptable!  Michael and other gracious chefs/restaurateurs have teamed up with Chefs Cycle to raise money for No Kid Hungry, a campaign of national anti-hunger organization Share Our Strength. They use their passion for cycling to raise money & awareness for childhood hunger to help ensure that kids start the day with a nutritious breakfast and families learn the skills they need to shop and cook on a budget.

We are donating 100% of the proceeds from the sale of Michael's Big Wheel Collection to No Kid Hungry.  Every dollar we raise feeds 10 meals to a kid in need!

Please consider buying this awesome kit.  Not only will you look fresh to death & connect to how awesome bikes & childhood are but you will also be helping children across the US!
